Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting is available for Hightstown residents by appointment only. All appointments for fingerprints shall be made directly through the Detective Bureau up to one week in advance. All persons are expected to be at police headquarters on time. Any person arriving late may forfeit their appointment for that day. The Hightstown Police Department reserves the right to cancel appointments at any time due to unexpected emergency assignments.

Fingerprinting is performed for employment, securities, federal/state licenses, adoption, etc.

Individuals being fingerprinted shall provide the following items:

  • Fingerprint cards
  • Two (2) forms of identification

Any person requiring fingerprinting for one of the following categories must schedule an appointment with IDENTOGO. Members of the Hightstown Police Department are not authorized to take or submit fingerprints for any of the below listed categories:

  • Alcohol Beverage License
  • Volunteer
  • Local Ordinance
  • Paid or Part Time Fireman
  • Firearms Licensing
  • Criminal History Background Check
  • Letters of Good Conduct

Applicants needing to contact IDENTOGO to schedule an appointment may do so at www.bioapplicant.com/nj or by calling 1-877-503-5981 Monday through Friday between 8:00AM and 4:00PM.

Fingerprinting is not done for immigration purposes. All immigration fingerprinting must be performed by Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) at one of the following locations:
