On Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 3:21 p.m. on North Main Street, a traffic stop made by Hightstown Borough Police Department K-9 Unit, revealed the seizure of 158 glassine packets of heroin. Mr. Justin Sequinot, a 30 y/o male of Elizabeth, NJ was stopped for having an unclear license plate and was found to be driving while suspended and had three warrants for his arrest totaling $2030 from various jurisdictions. A canine search of the vehicle by Niko revealed a positive indicator for narcotics in the vehicle. A search warrant for the vehicle was later executed and revealed 158 glassine packets of heroin in the trunk of the vehicle. Mr. Sequinot was subsequently charged with possessing unclear plates, driving while suspended, contempt of court, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park, and possession with intent to distribute within 100 feet of a school zone. Bail in this matter was set at $25,000 full and Mr. Sequinot was later transported to the Mercer County Adult Correction Center in lieu of bail.
