Listed below are some of the activities from Hightstown Police Department during the month of August 2012.

• Our police department answered 977 calls for service this month, including 23 ambulance calls and one fire call
• 210 summonses were issued, which included 3 DWI summonses
• 17 motor vehicle accidents were investigated
• 235 foot patrols were initiated throughout town
• 23 persons were arrested for various criminal offenses, and 48 investigations were initiated. Four municipal court sessions were held in August 2012
• There were three K-9 searches/assists for HPD and for other agencies in August 2012
